As part of Vantan’s joint project with the City of Ena,
a competition was held to choose a mascot for Kasagicho in Ena City.
The mascot is to represent Yuzu,
a specialty citrus fruit that Kasagicho is famous for.

The purpose of the mascot is to promote the town and the fruit. Voting was held in February and March to choose
among eighteen mascots designed by VDI's Nagoya School students.

1,039 votes were cast.
Among the 18 entries, a mascot named Yuzumo-chan,
designed by Mr. Tatsuma Yamagawa received the most votes.
He is a graphic design student at VDI.

Stickers, pins, mobile phone straps, towels
and other merchandize featuring Yuzumo-chan are planned.
